BAD SCHUSSENRIED – To mark the clinic's 150th anniversary, the German Society for the History of Neurology (DGGN) held its 2025 annual conference at the Centre for Psychiatry South Württemberg in Bad Schussenried. With a large turnout from among its members and other interested participants from the fields of clinical psychiatry and historical-scientific research, this year's DGGN annual conference – following conferences in Vienna in 2023 and Cologne in 2024 – took place in beautiful Upper Swabia. On 25 September 2025, conference guests were warmly welcomed by the chairman, Prof. Dr Thomas Müller, and the DGGN treasurer, Dr Bernd Reichelt (both from the Centre for Psychiatry Suedwuerttemberg), who helped organise the event on site. Thomas Müller, Chairman of the DGGN since 2021, was also responsible for the scientific programme of this annual conference, together with Dr Christian Prüter-Schwarte, Secretary of the DGGN and Chief Physician at the LVR Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Cologne.
